Ive attempted various output levels and frequencies of the square wave. It shows the voltage on the DC-blocking capacitor - it gets charged and starts output a stabilized AC signal, but unfortunately, it failed to show any voltage from the output side. Mind boggling indeed and very stressful as I have some deadlines to meet. To investigate the behavior of the amplifier, I feed a 100 mV square wave at the input. Mod4_counter mod4_cnt(clk, reset, start_count, count_value) Īs you can see in the screenshot, the signals have been added on the wave window and run icon clicked. Pre_count_value <= pre_count_value + 1'b1 Module mod4_counter(clk, reset, start_count, count_value) BPSK Demodulator The block diagram of BPSK demodulator consists of a mixer with local oscillator circuit, a bandpass filter, a two-input detector circuit. Modelsim was installed only 3 weeks back and I don't think there is anything to do with licensing because I tried uninstalling modelsim, reinstalling and repeating the same process but again that was to no effect. The output sine wave of the modulator will be the direct input carrier or the inverted (180° phase shifted) input carrier, which is a function of the data signal. This module will introduce the student to the RF and mm-Wave Circuit Design course and to the topic of wireless systems. I have enclosed a screenshot of my wave window. Video created by Universidade Tecnológica de Eindhoven for the course 'RF and millimeter-Wave Circuit Design'. This procedure worked yesterday and is not working today. Here is a checklist of the procedure I followed.Ģ) I added counter.v and counter_tb.v to a project.ģ) I clicked "Start simulation" in the "Simulate menu"Ĥ) The I clicked my testbench module name under the work directory.ĥ) Then I clicked on the "Objects" tab and selected all the signals, right clicked, wave, add to wave all the signals in the design.Ħ) Now when I move to wave tab and click run icon i don't see any of the green waveforms. But today morning after I rebooted my laptop and tried opening modelsim and repeating the same process, I am not able to see any waveform on the wave window. Yesterday the simulation worked and I was able to see the waves in the modelsim wave window after adding the signals to the wave. Next, apply power and adjust the waveform generator.

Using scope channel 1 to observe the input at W1 and scope channel 2 to observe the output of the amplifier at R L. I tried simulating a simple counter in modelsim pe student edition 10.0a. Procedure: The waveform generator, W1, should be configured for a 1 KHz sine wave with 6.0 volt amplitude peak-to-peak and 0 offset. I have a perplexing problem and its very irritating.
